1 CALL TO ORDER - First Selectman Anthony DaRos called the meeting to order at 4:15PM.
2 RESOLUTION - Beryl Meiner of the Branford Early Learning Center, Inc. requested approval of the annual Child Day Card Program with the Connecticut Department of Social Services. This is an annual grant that will allow her to continue services and cover payroll. Francis Walsh MOVED to approve execution of a Certified Resolution to enter into contracts with the Department of Social Services of the State of Connecticut for a Child Day Care program if such an agreement is offered and to have the corporate seal affixed to all documents required as part of any offered agreement. John Opie SECONDED. MOTION CARRIED.
3 CORRESPONDENCE - Joan Merrick of the Branford Open Space Committee requested approval of a Proclamation claiming April 2008 as Land Trust Month and to hang a Banner from March 31 through Sunday April 6, 2008 announcing April as Land Trust Month. John Opie MOVED to approve a Proclamation claiming April as Land Trust Month and for a banner to be hung accordingly. Francis Walsh SECONDED. MOTION CARRIED.
