There was a special meeting of the Rules & Ordinances Committee on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in the Sliney Room of Canoe Brook Senior Center, 11 Cherry Hill Road, Branford, CT. Present were Representatives Black, DeFord, Giardiello, Lavorato, Walker, and Thayer. Rep. Docknevich was absent. The meeting came to order at 7:40 and heard the following items:
1. To consider, and if appropriate, approve a request from the Water Pollution Control Authority Superintendent for the following transfer (FY 2006-07):

To: 101-4303-433.42-02 Electricity $ 49,800
101-4303-433.42-02 Pump Out Services $ 5,540
101-4303-433.58-02 Uniforms & Clothing $ 864

This request for transfer was amended by reducing it by $25,281 as follows:

To: 101-4303-433.42-02 Electricity $ 24,519
101-4303-433.42-02 Pump Out Services $ 5,540
101-4303-433.58-02 Uniforms & Clothing $ 864
TOTAL $ 30,923
This measure, as amended, was approved unanimously.
2. To consider, and if appropriate, approve a request from the Water Pollution Control Authority Superintendent for the following transfer (FY 2006-07):

101-4303-433.41-11 Sewer Line R&M $(10,281)
TOTAL $ 25,281

Item #2 was unanimously approved by the Board of Finance at its meeting of September 24.
Item #2 was approved unanimously by the R&O Committee.
