The Public Services Committee met Wednesday October 3, 2007 at Police Headquarters.
Present: Rep. Bob Abels, Chair, Rep. Dennis Flanigan, Rep. John Prete, Rep. Maggie Bruno,
Police Commission Chair Jo-anne McGuigan, and Deputy Police Chief Tom Fowler.
Absent: Rep. Pam Mauriello, Rep. Ralph Coppola, and Rep. Gail Infantino
Chairman Bob Abels called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The following items were addressed:
1. To consider, and if appropriate, approve the request from the Director of Public Works for
the following transfers: (FY2006-2007):

Deputy Chief Fowler explained that this would be the last request for transfers of 2006-2007 budget. That the Board of Finance recommends to the RTM a transfer of $90,917 as requested by the Board of Police Commissioners. After discussion, a motion was made by Rep. Dennis Flanigan to accept this transfer, seconded by Rep. John Prete, and the motion was passed by unanimous vote 4-0.
A motion to adjourn was made by Dennis Flanigan, seconded by Maggie Bruno, and passed by unanimous vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm by Chair Bob Abels.
