To consider and, if appropriate, approve a request from the Town Clerk for the following transfer:
From: 101-4108-408.54-01 Membership & Meetings ( 300)
To: 101-4108-408.58-01 Training & Education 300
Representative Chapman Carbone reviewed item based on Marianne Kelly, Town Clerk’s notes: This request is to cover a shortage in the Training and Education line item, to be taken from the Meetings and Membership line item. Many of this fiscal year’s trainings haven been coupled with meetings to reduce the number of separate meetings and trainings in an effort to cut costs and out of office time. However, trainings have increased as meetings have decreased. This is a line item change from within the Town Clerk’s budget. Motion made to approve by Representative Nardella, seconded by Representative Black. Motion carried 7/0.
8. To consider and, if appropriate, approve a request from the Town Clerk for the following transfer:
From: 101-4101-401.58-01 Training & Education (1,150)
To: 101-4101-401.52-01 Ordinances 1,150
Representative Chapman Carbone reviewed item based on Marianne Kelly, Town Clerk’s notes: This amount is to cover a shortfall in the “Ordinance” line item. This overage was due to the number of ordinances passed since January, 2009 as well as one of these being 22 pages long. This request is a line item change from Training and Education to Ordinances. Motion made to approve by Representative Black, seconded by Representative Merrick. Motion carried 7/0.
