Minutes of special meeting 4-29-09
A special meeting of the RTM Education Committee, held at Branford High School, was called to order at 7:15 pm by Chair Maggie Bruno.
Roll call:
Committee members: Representative Maggie Bruno/Chair, Representative Frank Twohill, Representative Maryann Amore, Representative Richard Greenalch, Representative Josh Brooks, Representative Troy Rondinone, Representative John Cinque
Also present: RTM Moderator Sandra Reiners, RTM Majority Leader Anthony Giaridiello, Representatives Scott Thayer, Laurel Merrick, Chris Sullivan, and Peter Black.
Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Halligan, Board of Education Chair Frank Carrano, and BOE Business Manager Tashie Rosen presented the 2009-10 Board of Education operating budget, and answered questions concerning the budget.
A motion to adjourn was made by Representative Amore, seconded by Representative Twohill. The vote was unanimous 7-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 pm.
