Police Department Budget Presentation
Chief John DeCarlo and Assistant Chief Fowler presented the 2009/10 Police Services budget (Dept 4201). It featured a small overall increase in personnel items (0.43%), including no increase in overtime spending, and a decrease in non-personnel items of -4.97%. An overall budget of $4,967,462 was proposed, a decrease of -1.50% over FY08/09 ($5,042,867).
Formal vote on the police and other budgets will take place at the May 7th Special meeting of the Public Services Committee after closing deliberations.
Motion to adjourn at 8:15pm by Rep. Flanigan, second by Rep. O’Donnell.
