Minutes of special meeting 4-22-09
A special meeting of the RTM Education Committee, held at Willoughby Wallace Library, was called to order at 7:10 pm by Chair Maggie Bruno.
Roll call: Representative Maggie Bruno/Chair, Representative Frank Twohill, Representative Maryanne Amore, Representative Richard Greenalch, Representative Josh Brooks, Representative Troy Rondinone
Also present: RTM Representative/Majority Leader Anthony Giaridiello, Susan Donovan, Kathy Reiger, Martha Clark, Vin Giordano, Paul Dzialo
Susan Donovan presented the proposed 2009-10 budget for Willoughby Wallace Library, and answered questions concerning the budget.
Representative Greenalch made a motion to approve the Willoughby Wallace Library 2009-10 budget as presented, seconded by Representative Brooks. The vote was unanimous to approve: 6-0.
Blackstone Library trustee Vin Giordano and Director Kathy Reiger presented the proposed 2009-10 budget for Blackstone Library, and answered questions concerning the budget.
Representative Greenalch made a motion to approve the 2009-10 operating budget for Blackstone Library as presented, seconded by Representative Amore. The vote was unanimous to approve: 6-0. The capital budget will be referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Director Paul Dzialo presented the proposed 2009-10 budget for Adult Education, and answered questions concerning the budget.
Representative Greenalch made a motion to approve the 2009-10 budget for Adult Education as presented, seconded by Representative Rondinone. The vote was unanimous to approve: 6-0.
A motion to adjourn was made by Representative Twohill, seconded by Representative Amore. The vote was unanimous 6-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 pm.
