CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE POSITION OF:
MARINE PUMP-OUT BOAT OPERATORS This Position pays 14.00 per hour.
Branford, CT
Seasonal
May through September
Date of Notice: April 27, 2008
Essential Function: Seasonal Weekends -Friday through Monday, be available for town waste water pump-out boat.
Qualification Requirements: Must be 18 or older. USCG boat operator certificate and experience with boat operation/navigation.
Selection Process: Application and resume qualifications considered with follow-up interview if warranted.
The Town of Branford reserves the right to limit the number of qualified candidates who will be considered for the position.
The files of all qualified candidates will be maintained for a minimum of six months from the announcement date, and the qualified candidates will be considered for the same or similar positions which may become available during this timeframe.
All candidates not employed by the Town of Branford, prior to employment, must successfully pass a post-offer medical examination, which includes a substance abuse test given at the Town's expense.
The Town of Branford has implemented a policy of background investigations for positions to be completed prior to hiring as part of the reference checking procedures for candidates not already employed by the Town. The investigation may be conducted as the last step prior to an offer. Refusal to sign the release form will terminate the candidate from further consideration.
