CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE POSITION OF:
Clinician – Branford Counseling Center
Date of Notice: 2/8/2008
Salary range $45,974-$49,787

Essential Functions: Provides direct clinical psychiatric therapy, carries full caseload and is responsible for all required documentation. Provides individual, family or group therapy for both adults and children. Rotates as an on call clinician for 24 hour per day crisis line. May participate in Prevention Programs in the community.
Qualification Requirements: Masters degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy. Must be State licensed (LCSW or LMFT).

The Town of Branford reserves the right to limit the number of qualified candidates who will be considered for the position.
The files of all qualified candidates will be maintained for a minimum of six months from the announcement date, and the qualified candidates will be considered for the same or similar positions which may become available during this timeframe.
All candidates not employed by the Town of Branford, prior to employment, must successfully pass a post-offer medical examination, which includes a substance abuse test given at the Town's expense.
The Town of Branford has implemented a policy of comprehensive background investigations for management/professional positions to be completed prior to hiring as part of the reference checking procedures for candidates not already employed by the Town. The investigation will be conducted as the last step prior to an offer. Refusal to sign the release form will terminate the candidate from further consideration.
