01 Meeting was called to order at 6:35 P.M. by Chairman, Michael Krause.
DISCUSSION
02 Special Education Tuition and Transportation. Mr. Cavallaro presented the monthly report on the Special Education Tuition. Transportation expenses are not yet available.
03 Monthly % Expenditure 2008-2009. Discussion of monthly expenditure update by Mrs. Rosen.
04 Budget 2008-2009 Review. Mrs. Rosen reviewed the status of the 2008-2009 report. Dr. Halligan discussed the end of year 2008-2009 for Special Education. She explained that with our ECS we had $162,341 left because we received 100% ECS grant and we had budgeted at 90% reimbursement. She discussed other areas where all of the funds were not spent. She also explained the Regular Education Unencumbered balance of $276,441 for a total of $438,782 unexpended to be returned to the town.
05 Budget 2009-2010. Mrs. Rosen discussed the status of the education budget for 2009-2010.
06 Personnel Report. Ms. Gladdys, Director of Human Resources, reported that there is a .5 Special Education position at Sliney School is available. BHS Spanish teacher has resigned.
