01 Meeting was called to order at 6:30 P.M. by Donna Melcher.
DISCUSSION
02 Special Education Tuition & Transportation Update
Mr. Cavallaro presented the November report on the Special Education and Transportation Budget.
03 Monthly % Expenditure 2007-2008
Discussion of monthly expenditure percentages for 2007-08 budget by Mrs. Rosen.
04 Budget Review 2007-2008
Mrs. Rosen reviewed the status of the budget for 2007-2008. Specifically, she reviewed the status of Health Insurance,
Waivers, and the Board of
Education account. She also reviewed our self funded prescription and Dental plan costs and balance.
05 Tuitioned Students: Regular Education
Mrs. Rosen explained the cost of students to attend other schools and the cost of transportation.
06 Clean Energy
Dr. Halligan updated the status of our clean energy plans.
07 Administrative Software:
Dr. Halligan discussed the collaborative effort update with the Town.
08 Child-Rearing Leave of Absence Request:
There are three Requests for Child Rearing leaves. Lisa Alberino, Allesandra Minickene, and Deb Bliven have requested these leaves:
Krause/Barr motion to recommend approval to the full Board.
09 Personnel Report:
HR Director, Paula Gladdys will come in for the BOE meeting on February 16, 2008. A Tech Interim Director has been hired – a former Guilford
Retired Tech Director for approximately 2 months. Gary Endean.
