HARBOR STREET FORCE MAIN REPLACEMENT IN THE TOWN OF BRANFORD
The Town of Branford, Connecticut, hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received for the Harbor Street Force Main Replacement project. The project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing 105 ft. of 6” asbestos cement sanitary sewer force main to 6” ductile iron pipe over Harbor Street Bridge.
The Work under the proposed Contract shall commence within 30 days after the date set forth in the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within 45 days after start of Work.
The Purchasing Clerk for the Town of Branford, Connecticut will receive sealed bids until 10:00 A.M. Local Time on September 25, 2017 at the Finance Department Office, Town Hall, 1019 Main Street, Branford, Connecticut 06405, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Bidding Documents are on file for review at the Town of Branford website www.branford-ct.gov. Plans and specifications for this project will be available for download on the website.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
The Owner may waive any informalities or minor defects, or reject any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the Town of Branford to do so.
