The Traffic Committee of the Board of Police Commissioners will meet on TUESDAY, October 13, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the Community Room at Police Headquarters, 33 Laurel Street to consider the following:

1.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request for solutions on right on red issues on Cedar Street at the I-95 Interchange at exit 54.  (Tabled from September).

2.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request for a traffic light on Brushy Plains Road at its intersection with Parish Farms Road.  (Tabled from September).

3.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request to restrict parking on Summit Place.

4.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request for a Handicapped Parking sign in the vicinity of 1251 Main Street.  (Near Shore Line Foods).

5.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request to restrict parking at the Veterans Memorial Triangle on Thimble Island Road in Stony Creek.

6.      To consider, and if appropriate, act on a request from the Town Engineer for a STOP sign on Commercial Parkway for southbound traffic at its intersection with Montoya Drive, creating a three-way intersection with an accompanying advanced warning sign.  This is to accommodate the Amtrak bridge project as the DOT has established their field trailers and material storage area on property they own on Commercial Parkway.
